Voorman Reaches the Round of 32 at ITA Men's Atlantic Regionals
Senior Fredi Voorman (Talinn, Estonia) advance to the round of 32 in the ITA Men’s Atlantic Regionals, held at Old Dominion University. Voorman defeated Liberty’s Louis Steyn, 6-4, 6-2, and ousted William & Mary’s Richard Wardell, 7-6 (5), 6-3 to advance. However, Virginia Tech’s Will Beck eliminated Voorman, 6-4, 6-0.

Cambridge, Mass.—UMBC junior Fredi Voorman (Talinn, Estonia) earned a pair of post-season accolades, and three other Retrievers were cited as the America East Conference announced its 2009 All-Conference teams.
