Recap of 2009 Retriever Club Golf Outing
The 2009 Retriever Club Golf Outing at Rolling Road GC on June 15 was a tremendous success. Former men’s lacrosse face-off standout Brian Lawton (’02) highlighted a wonderful day of golf with his first ever hole-in-one! Lawton’s pitching wedge from the 106 yard 10th hole ended his day and the 23rd annual outing in extraordinary fashion. 120 golfers enjoyed a spectacular day at Rolling Road Golf Club. The tournament provides scholarship support, along with academic services assistance and facility upkeep for UMBC’s student-athletes.
