Women's Swimming & Diving Named CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that the UMBC Women's Swimming & Diving team was named a Spring Scholar All-America Team.

To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester. The Retrievers had a team GPA of 3.64 in the spring. 

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development
