Biography

Gary Wohlstetter is another veteran of the UMBC staff, having arrived in 1989 after directing the Recreation program at Hunter (NY) College. After 15 years of supervising the Physical Education, Rec Sports, Intramurals and Club Sports programs, the Brooklyn, New York native and ‘85 graduate of Hunter and now works primarily in our Athletics division. He is responsible for entrepreneurial efforts, construction, long-term planning, day-to-day and game day operations, the direct supervision of team budgets and operations, and facilities upkeep and programming.
