Biography

Debee Mathews was named Director’s Executive Assistant at UMBC in January 1993.

Ms. Mathews is the executive assistant to UMBC’s Athletic Director, Dr. Charles Brown. Among her many responsibilities, she acts as an intermediary for Dr. Brown and interacts with university and external officials and the public. The Catonsville resident is also responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining personnel files, and researching and preparing documents for the university, Board of Regents, the America East Conference and the NCAA.
