Biography

Josh Lightfoot was named RAC Building Manager at UMBC in September 2009.

As RAC Building Manager, Lightfoot is responsible for maintaining the facilities of the RAC including custodial, maintenance, set-up, and security. He is also heavily involved with athletic and recreation events and maintaining the RAC’s complex facility schedules.

Lightfoot worked as an intern for UMBC RecSports, helping with intramurals and UMBC’s Summer Day Camp. During this time, he was responsible for supervising and officiating intramural events, processing RAC memberships, and supervising campers.

Lightfoot earned his bachelor's degree in recreation and leisure studies from Shepherd University (W.Va.) in May 2008
