2016: Competed at the Mount 5K Duals and the Salty Dog Invitational in September. 

 

2015: Ran in all but two races for the Retrievers her first season at UMBC... Started the year at the Mount 5k Duals, finishing her first collegiate race in a time of 20:37... Ran the next week at the Wolfie Invite, crossing the tape in a time of 21:20... At the Gettysburg Invitational, she crossed the finish line in a time of 23:53... Helped the Retrievers to a fifth place finish at the America East Championships, finishing the race in a time of 21:06. 

 

Background: A highly decorated runner at Marlboro High School… Was named team’s most improved athlete her sophomore season, and earned Cross Country Team MVP the next year… During her senior campaign, she was named cross country and winter and spring track & field MVP… Also earned the team’s Senior Coaches Award, as chosen by all Marlboro High School coaches… Owns three school cross country top times, as well as three indoor track records and five outdoor records… Won the Eastern States Championship this past spring in the 2,000m steeplechase.

 

Personal: Daughter of Paul Bartelloni and Lori Gordon… Has two younger siblings, Samantha and Logan… Plans on majoring in biology with a career ambition to be a physical therapist… Lists favorite pro team as the New York Yankees and favorite movie as Anchor Man.
