Even though the Retrievers fall to 13-12 on the season and 5-5 in America East play, UMBC has qualified for the America East Championship semifinals and will face the No. 1 seed Albany on Friday. The tournament will be hosted by the Great Danes, who finished 10-0 in the conference.

The Retrievers (6-7) finished 2-1 in the tournament, with sophomore Alyssa Lang was named to the All-Tournament team.
