BOSTON, Mass.—The UMBC men's and women's track and field teams concluded action at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships Sunday. The men finished 42nd with four points, while the women placed 29th with eight points.
Junior Imani Colbert (Upper Marlboro, Md./C.H. Flowers) placed fifth in the women's 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.66, while junior Joshua Hewitson (New Market, Md./Linganore) finished fifth in the men's 500-meter dash in 1:03.65.
Sophomore Trae Proctor (Brandywine, Md./Thomas Stone) finished 13th in the men's 60-meter hurdles in 8.35, while freshman Mo Drammeh (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson) placed 17th in the men's high jump with a mark of 1.99m (6'6.25").
Senior Sara Parkinson (Chorley, England/Loughborough University) crossed the line 16th in the women's 3,000-meter run in a time of 9:59.54, while sophomore Amanda Deller (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) finished 25th in the women's weight throw with a heave of 14.96m (49'1").
