2011-12: Won the 100-yd. backstroke in a UMBC school-record time of 55.76 at the America East Championships... Also placed fourth in the 200-yd back with a season-best time of 2:02.70 which ranks as the fourth-fastest in school history... Helped the 200 and 400 medley relays, as well as the 200 free relay team win gold medals at the conference meet held in Boston... Placed fourth in the 100 back at the Patriot Invitational at George Mason... Won the 100 back twice during the dual meet season, against Howard and then against local rivals Loyola and Towson in a tri-dual meet... Also helped the 200 medley relay team defeat the Greyhounds and Tigers... Named to the America East Honor Roll.


2010-11: Placed seventh in the 200-yard backstroke and 11th in the 100-yard backstroke at the Patriot Invitational... Helped the 400 medley relay team claim fourth at the Patriot Invitational... 200 back (2:02.72) and 100 back (57.44) times at the America East Championships prelims rank third and sixth, respectively, on UMBC's all-time list... Best finish in a dual meet was second in the 100 back against Rider... Named to the America East Honor Roll.


Background: Earned a spot on the Czech Republic national team after placing fourth in the 50-meter backstroke at the 2009 Czech Republic Championships… Finished seventh in the 50 back and ninth in the 100 back at the 2010 Czech Republic Winter Championships.
