BALTIMORE, Md. – Head coach Vanessa Mann has released the four-game spring slate for UMBC women's soccer.
"We are excited to finally get out and play against someone other than ourselves," Mann said. "These games will give us four great opportunities against quality opposition to assess where we currently are in our cycle and allow us to see the culmination of the hard work each of the ladies has been putting in over the spring."
The Retrievers kick off the spring campaign on Saturday, April 7 with a 2 p.m. contest against Mount St. Mary's. The following weekend, the team will head to Washington, D.C. for a game against American at 11 a.m.
On April 21, the Retrievers will face off against Longwood at 12 p.m. in a contest hosted by Fredericksburg FC. The team's final spring game will be at Retriever Soccer Park on Saturday, April 28 against Montgomery College at 11 a.m.
"We stress daily that our product needs to evolve. Collectively, we are actively participating in moving this program forward to where we know it can be," Mann said.
