BALTIMORE, Md. – After falling to Stony Brook, 1-0 on Sunday, Oct. 16, the UMBC women's soccer team will close out its home season with a matchup against Binghatmon on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, seniors Dee Morris, Shannon Phillips, Alexa Quaranta, and Preslie Quaranta will all be honored for their time at UMBC.
Scouting the Retrievers:
-UMBC enters the final week of the season at 5-9-1 overall and 1-4-1 in America East play after falling to Stony Brook, 1-0 on Sunday, Oct. 16.
-In goal, sophomore Leah Roth has 88 saves in 15 appearances, while allowing 23 goals. She has a .793 save percentage and 1.48 goals against average and two shutouts coming into the final week of the season. Roth ranks second in the conference in saves and saves per game (5.87).
CAREER WATCH: Redshirt-senior Alexa Quaranta is now tied for eight in career shots taken with 119. She is tied for eighth in career assists (10) and is two goals away from tying for ninth (18).

Scouting the Bearcats:
-Binghamton enters the contest on a two-game winning streak after defeating Maine, 2-1 on Oct. 9 and UMass Lowell, 1-0 on Oct. 16. The Bearcats are 6-8-2 overall and 2-4-0 in conference play.
-Sophomore Jocelyn Acor leads the Bearcats offensive with three goals, followed by classmate Michele Galvin, senior Leighann Bennete and redshirt-junior Patty Loonie who each have two. Galvin leads the team with four assists.
-In goal, junior Katie Hatziyianis has started in 16 appearances, allowing 19 goals and making 69 saves for a .784 save percentage and a 1.16 goals against average. Hatziyianis also has three shutouts to her name this season.
