Tara Koleski Resigns as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at UMBC

BALTIMORE—Tara Koleski has resigned as head women's soccer coach at UMBC effective Tuesday, Jan. 22, UMBC athletic director Dr. Charles Brown announced.

Koleski came to UMBC in 2006 after two years as head coach at West Chester University. In her two years at UMBC, the Retrievers went 7-26-3, including 3-13-2 in 2007, when they finished seventh in the America East Conference.

A national search for a replacement will begin immediately. Women's soccer is a sport of emphasis in the America East Conference.
