2009: Played in 18  matches, starting 15 before a knee injury forced her to miss the  remaining eight matches of the season… Served 29 aces in 67 sets for an  average of 0.43 aces/set, the highest mark on the team… Recorded 101  kills out of the middle blocker position and added 45 blocks, the  second-most on the team… Best game of the season came in a five-set win  over New Hampshire on Oct. 9 with 10 kills against one error in 13  swings (.692)… Recorded a season-high five aces against Morgan State on  Sept. 15 and a season-high seven blocks against Binghamton on Oct. 16…  Named to the America East Honor Roll… Earned the team’s Unsung Hero  award at UMBC’s varsity awards ceremony in May.
 
2008: Saw action in 22 matches,  starting nine before a knee injury forced her to miss nine matches…  Served 22 aces in just 61 sets for an average of 0.36 aces/set, the  second-best mark on the team… Earned 105 digs and 102 kills on the  season… Earned a double-double with 19 digs and 18 kills in a five-set  victory over Eastern Michigan on Aug. 30… Had her best match of the  season against New Hampshire on Oct. 3, with nine kills and 10 digs in a  three-set win… Recorded double-digit digs in five matches.
 
2007: Played in all 32 matches  during the season, the most of any Retriever, starting 23 of them for a  total of 95 games played, the second-highest on the team… Finished the  season ranked 69th in the country with 0.46 service aces/game, which  also led the conference… Ranked second on the team with 2.66 kills/game  and 3.40 points/game and was third with 2.97 digs/game, which was the  10th-best mark in the conference… Recorded double-digit kills in eight  matches during the season, including a season-high 20 against NJIT on  Oct. 10… Also tallied a season-high 30 points that match and came one  service ace away from a triple-double, as she added 16 kills and nine  service aces… Put up a double-double seven times on the season and came  one kill or dig short on two more occasions… Her first career  double-double came against New Hampshire on Sept. 30 when she added 17  kills on 40 attacks with just one error for a .400 hitting percentage  and added 13 digs and five assisted blocks for 24.5 total points, her  second-highest point total… Named to the America East All-Rookie Team.
 
Background: A two-sport athlete  at AG West Black Hills High School in Olympia, Wash.... Helped her  volleyball team to a league victory over hometown rival Tumwater in the  2006 district playoffs… Recorded her best performance in the 2005  district tournament, totaling 32 kills and 23 digs against Mark Morris  in a five-game match… Named the 2005 Black Hills High School Wolves  Player of the Year… Also earned All-League Honorable Mention in 2004 and  was name to the All-League first team in 2005-06, The Olympian’s  All-Area Team in 2005-06, Washington State Coaches Association  All-State Team in 2006 and the Capital City Classic All-Tournament Team  in 2005… Also a stand-out track athlete who won the league championship  and district championship and finished second in the state in the high  jump… Holds the Black Hills record for the high jump and earned the  Coaches Award in 2005... Was named to The Olympian All-Area Track Team in 2006.
