Matt Bucci enters his second year with the UMBC Sports Performance team in 2025-26. Bucci serves as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach.
Bucci brought experience from three different universities to UMBC, working with the football program at Temple (2023), the football and volleyball programs at Penn (2022-2023), and the men's basketball program at Auburn (2022).
Bucci earned his Master's in Exercise Science with a focus in motor behavior at Auburn in 2022 after graduating with his undergraduate degree from Penn State in 2021. Bucci was a Penn State Football Letterman as an Equipment Manager as an undergrad.
