2010: Saw action in 17 games and made 16 starts in her inaugural campaign at UMBC… Ranked third on the team with nine assists, fourth with 18 draw controls and fifth with 24 goals and 33 points… Also added 17 ground balls and nine caused turnovers… Ranked fourth in the America East with 13 free-position goals… Recorded six assists against league opponents, tying for ninth in the conference with 1.0 per game… Also led the league with six free-position goals against America East foes… Opened the season on an 11-game scoring streak and tallied a point in 15 of 17 overall with a goal in 14 contests… Posted nine multi-goal efforts and 12 multi-point performances… Notched her only hat trick of the year in the season opener at Jacksonville… Tallied the game-winner against Delaware… Scored one goal, collected five ground balls and caused two turnovers in two games at the America East Championships… Her lone goal followed an interception, and she drove the length of the field for the score against top-seeded Albany… Recognized on the America East Honor Roll.

BACKGROUND: Earned Second-Team All-Met honors from the Washington Post as a sophomore and junior… Also tabbed an Under Armour All-American as a junior, when she scored 47 goals and led the Vikings with 43 assists… Earned First-Team All-County from The Baltimore Sun as a junior… Missed her senior season at Mt. Hebron with an ACL injury… Tallied 38 goals, 26 assists, 28 ground balls and 13 draw controls as a sophomore… Helped lead the Vikings to the state championship in 2006 and 2007, as well as a No. 1 ranking in the nation… Scored three goals in the 2007 state title game… Also lettered in basketball at Mt. Hebron, which won the state title in 2007-08… Daughter of Cindy and David Krause… Has three older sisters, Nicki, Angie and Cassie, and an older brother, Dustin… Nicki played soccer at UMBC, while Cassie played lacrosse at Towson… Born May 28, 1990… Majoring in history while pursuing a minor in education… Hopes to become an elementary school teacher.
