Baltimore, Md.-- UMBC women's basketball head coach Phil Stern announced the signing of Lyric Swann during the early signing period in November. Swann will join the Retrievers as part of the class of 2023 in the fall.
The Retrievers, who have no seniors on this years squad, will have four juniors, three sophomores and six freshman going into next year.
"This is such a special signing for our program. Not only is Lyric a special person on and off the court but she has been attending our camps since she was a young girl. Lyric's mom Karyn is a proud alumni 92 of the program and has been a huge supporter throughout the years," Stern said of Swann.
