CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The America East women's basketball championship game between the No.5-seed UMBC Retrievers and the No. 2-seed Albany Great Danes will be aired on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) and streamed live on ESPN3, the conference office announced.
Tip-off between the Retrievers and Great Danes is scheduled for 8:04 p.m. at Albany's SEFCU Arena.
This will be the fourth UMBC game shown nationally this year and the third time the Retrievers will appear on ESPN3. UMBC's regular season game against Boston U., in addition to last weekend's conference semifinal against the Terriers, was shown on the online ESPN Channel.
Earlier this season, the Retrievers played Hartford on Feb. 19 in the first nationally broadcast America East women's basketball game, which aired on CBS Sports.
