2017: UMBC’s co-Unsung Hero in his junior campaign… Scored in five of six meets and gradually improved during the course of the season… UMBC’s No. 2 finisher at both the Princeton Invitational and the season-ending NCAA Regionals.
2016: Selected as the team’s Unsung Hero after his sophomore season… The lone Retriever to score in all five meets… Posted top-15 finish in the season-opening Mount 5K Duals… Placed 16th overall eight days later at Navy… UMBC’s No. 3 finisher in both the Princeton Invitational and the America East Championships.
2015: Ran in all but one race for the Retrievers during his first season... Scored in the first two meets of the year, clocking in at 16:31 at the Mount 5K Duals and 27:24 at the Wolfie Invitational... Also scored the America East Championships, finishing the race with a time of 26:58.
Background: Competed in both cross country and track and field at Wootton High School… Produced his best performance at the 2014 Track n Trail Invitational, where he finished third despite being injured… Helped his team place third at the Maryland State Championships his junior season… Also qualified for states in both indoor and outdoor track and field this past year...
