2017: Battled through injury-plagued season and lined up in four of six meets, including both post-season competitions.
2016: Named the team’s co-Most Valuable Athlete… Competed in all five meets and scored in the final three… UMBC’s No. 3 finisher at Paul Short, improved to No. 2 at Princeton and led the Retrievers at America East Championships… His best 8k time occurred at Princeton when he ran the course in 25:14.6… Placed 18th overall in America East race and was the lone Retriever to break the 26- minute mark (25:22.0).
2015: Participated in three races during his first year on campus... Started the year with times of 17:07 and 28:13 at the Mount 5K Duals and the Wolfie Invite respectively... Was the third Retrievers across the tape at the Gettysburg Invitational with a time of 27:54.
Background: Competed in both cross country and track and field at Hereford High School… Named Boys’ Cross Country Athlete of the Year by the Hereford Harbinger as a senior… Helped lead the cross country team to three straight Maryland 3A State Championships during his tenure… A member of the Chess Club and National Technical Honor Society in high school...
