2016: Competed in four of five meets in his final campaign… Placed 11 th overall in the season-opening Mount 5K Duals… Scored in the Navy Invitational, as he was the fifth Retriever to complete the course. 


2015: Competed in all six meets for the Retrievers as a junior... Finished the opening race at the Mount 5K Duals with a time of 16:44... He scored the very next meet, crossing the finish line in a time of 27:02 at the Wolfie Invitational... Had his best race of the year at the Princeton Invitational, where he finished in a time of 24:44, a career best... Earned a 20th place finish at the America East Championships with a time of 25:56. 


2014: Competed in and scored in all six meets for the Retrievers... Finished 5th at the Mount 5K Duals to open the season with a time of 15:29... He followed that up with a 22nd place finish at the Navy Invite, crossing the tape in a time of 25:38... Posted his best time at the Princeton Invitational with a time of 25:11, good for 57th place... Finished in 14th place at the America East Championships with a time of 25:35 as the Retrievers finished third as a team... Competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, placing 61st with a time of 31:43.


2013: Competed for the Retrievers in five of the team’s six meets as a freshman… Placed 21st overall at his first collegiate meet, the America East Pre-Conference Meet at Binghamton… Recorded a time of 26:22.2 on the 8k course in Vestal, N.Y. as UMBC won the team title… Posted a season-best 8k time of 25:42 at the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 19… Also competed at the Navy Invitational, as well as the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh.


Background: Helped lead Hereford to back-to-back-to-back county, regional, and state championships from 2010-2012… Named to the Baltimore County All-County Team each of those three years… Also named to the Baltimore Sun Cross Country All-Metro Team in 2011 and 2012… Won his first individual state championship in his final high school race, the 1,600m at the 2013 Maryland Outdoor State Track and Field Championships... Son of Jeremy and Joyce Luckin… Has one younger sister, Jennifer.
