Adantor Sets New Personal and Togo Record in the Shot Put at All-African Games

Brazzaville, Congo—Former UMBC track and field standout Yao Adantor claimed fourth-place at the 2015 All-African Games in Brazzaville, Congo recently. The native of Togo threw a lifetime best throw of 17.64m.

The toss put him in fourth place in the event, as Franck Elemba Waka of Congo won the event with a throw of 20.25m. The mark by Adantor broke the Togo record, which he set last year at the African Championships with a toss of 16.33m.
