2016 Outdoor: Lowered his career best in the 200m dash at the Larry Ellis Invite with a time of 22.19... Ran in the 400m dash at the America East Championships for a new lifetime best of 49.44.

2015-16 Indoor: Competed in a trio of sprints for the Retrievers... Ran a season best 7.15 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge in the 60m... Took to the Penn State Relays for a 22.37 in the 200m dash, while earning a 49.85 in the 400m dash at the America East Championships.

2015 Outdoor: Competed in the 200m and 400m dashes, as well as the 400m hurdles during the spring season... Qualified for the finals of the 400m dash at the America East Championships, finishing seventh with a time of 49.60... Also had a season best time at the championships in the 200m dash, finishing with a time of 22.32.

2014-15 Indoor: Competed in both sprints and jumps as a freshman during the indoor season... At the Terrapin Invitational, he set a season best in the 400m dash, finishing the event in a time of 50.62... Would set two season bests at the Penn State Relays just a few weeks later... Finished the 500m dash with a time of 1:08.51... At the same meet, competing in the long jump, he had his best jump of 5.70m (18'8.5").

Background: Was named New Balance Nationals All-American (Outdoor) in 2013, while also earning a spot on the PG County All-Gazette Team… Helped lead his team to three Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Championships from 2012-14… John made the Penn Relays Championship of America for the 4x100m and 4x400m while at DeMatha High School.
