UMBC Indoor Track and Field Begins Season at Bison Open Saturday

BALTIMORE-- The UMBC men's and women's indoor track and field teams open their seasons Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa. for the Bison Open hosted by Bucknell. The men have been picked to finish fourth in the America East pre-season poll, while the women have been picked to finish seventh.

The men will look to their sprint and hurdles group of juniors Adrian Arthur (Bowie, Md./Bowie), Keith Brown (Columbia, Md./McDonogh) and Camal Pugh (Clinton, Md./Oxon Hill) to lead the team that is more complete overall than in past years and will look to challenge the rest of the conference.

On the women's side, twin seniors Kierra Gregory and Tierra Gregory (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) and juniors Britney Foreman (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) and Tawana Wilson (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) head a veteran sprint team that will look to carry a young Retriever squad.
