Men's Tennis Drops Narrow 4-3 Decision to Stony Brook

BALTIMORE – UMBC split six singles matches with conference rival Stony Brook, but the Seawolves' victory in doubles propelled the Seawolves to a 4-3 victory over the Retrievers at the UMBC Tennis Complex on March 26.

Seniors Melker Svard, Alex Drean and Eliott Loubatie all won their singles matches in straight sets at the Nos. 2, 3 and 3 slots. Sophomore Kevin Hsieh won his first set at No. 6 singles, but dropped the lone three-setter of singles, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1.

The Retrievers will host George Mason at 2:00 PM ET on Wednesday, March 30th.
