Spring 2015: Reached double figures in singles and doubles victories, posting marks of 10-7 in singles and 11-5 in doubles… Split time in singles at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions… Won three-set match against Addison Appleby of William & Mary, 6-7, 6-0, 6-2 as UMBC pulled off the victory in Williamsburg… Also triumphed against Stony Brook in a three set match, 6-4, 5-7, 10-5… Won eight straight doubles matches with Jaan Kononov from early March until mid-April.
Fall 2014: Cruised at the No. 3 flight past GMU’s Joe Hill 6-1, 6-1 and Mount St. Mary’s Peter Salomon, 6-4, 6-2 at the George Mason Invitational Ccombined with teammate Justin Carter to sweep all three first-flight doubles matches Impressed with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over LSU's Boris Arias at the ITA All-American Championships... Prevailed over Will Juggins of William & Mary, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 at the ITA Atlantic Regionals.
2014: In the fall, reached the round of 32 in 2013 Atlantic Regional Championship… Earned America East Second Team honors in both singles and doubles… Tabbed a two-time (March 11, April 15) America East Player of the Week… His best winning streak was a six-match string in the middle of the campaign… Entered the America East Tournament with most singles victories (14) and total wins (19) for the Retrievers.
2013: Ended the spring with a singles record of 6-10 while playing in the No. 2 spot every match…Took 10 out of his 16 singles matches into three sets… Had a doubles record of 4-11.
Background: Majoring in media and communication studies... Earned back-to-back bronze medals in the Swedish men’s highest division in 2011 and 2012… Reached the finals of a European junior tournament at his home club… Competed in five doubles semifinal rounds in ITF Tournaments… Earned regional singles and doubles titles in 2007… Also competed in soccer and was the top scorer on a team which won a 2005 regional title… Has traveled extensively for tennis, including a trip to the Caribbean in 2011… Enjoys seafood and lists favorite movie as Law Abiding Citizen...
