Gliese Becomes National Champion at 2019 Danish Open

On day one of the 2019 Danish Open, senior Alexander Gliese (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) became the Danish National Champion in the 100 back, touching in with a time of 55:41. Last year at the event, Gliese finished second in a time of 56.77.

Gliese, who is the country's record holder in the 200 back, will continue competition until April 9.
