2017-18: Two-time champion at the America East Championship… Set a school record in the 100 fly, earning gold with a time of 47.37… Also took home gold in the 200 fly after touching in with a time of 1:48.13… Was a finalist in the 100 back, earning fourth place… Was a member of the men’s 200 medley relay team that broke a UMBC and America East record… Also earned gold on the men’s 800 free and 400 medley relay teams… Earned America East Swimmer of the Week for the week ending January 9…. Earned All-America East honors… Named to the America East All-Academic Team.
2016-17: Was a finalist in the ECAC Championships in the 100 fly with a time of 48.67 earning him third place…Also placed 10th in the 200 fly with a time of 1:51.02 which was a 1.3% improvement from the East Carolina vs UMBC meet, where he clocked in at 1:53.20 in the 200 fly... At the CCSA Championship, earned second place in the 100 fly with a time of 48.53… Also placed 12th in the 500 free with a time of 4:34.65.
2015-16: Had his best swims of the year at the CCSA Championships in Athens, Ga., earning a spot in the finals of the 100 fly... He touched in with a time of 48.43, taking bronze in the race helping UMBC to back-to-back championships... Also competed in the 200 fly and 500 free at the championships, finishing with times of 1:51.90 and 4:40.54 respectively... Named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.
2014-15: He finished in third in the B Final at the CCSA Championships in the 500 freestyle, touching the wall in a time of 4:36.29... Earned an 8th place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 50.26 and followed that with a sixth place finish in the 200 butterfly, finishing in 1:51.50... Named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.
Background: Swam for four years at Howard High School… Was also a state champion in cross country.
