2009-10: Placed fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard individual medley and fifth in the 200 IM at the America East Championships… The 200 IM time of 1:51.92 was a career-best time and the sixth-fastest in UMBC history… The 200 breast (2:07.26) and 400 IM (4:02.66) were season-best times… Best finish in the dual meet season came in the 200 breast against Marist.


2008-09: Finished fifth in the 200- and 400-yard individual medleys and sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke at the America East Championships… Swam career-best times in the 200 breast (2:05.83) and 400 IM (4:01.17) at the conference meet, which are ninth and seventh respectively, on UMBC’s top-10 list… Also swam a season-best time in the 200 IM (1:52.35)… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.


2007-08: Finished 12th in the 200-yard breaststroke, 13th in the 200 individual medley, 15th in the 400 IM and 17th in the 200 butterfly at the GMU Patriot Invitational… Highest finish of the year came against Marist, where he was second in the 200 breast and third in the 1,000 freestyle… Swam season-best times in the 200 IM (1:55.41), 400 IM (4:07.67) and 200 fly (1:57.32) at the America East Championships and in the 200 breast (2:14.53) at the Patriot Invite.


Background: A letterwinner at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Md., and member of the  Retriever Aquatic Club under UMBC coaches Chad Cradock and Chris Gibeau… Earned the high point award for the 2007 Howard County Championships… Finished third in the 200 individual medley at the 2007 Spring Speedo Championship Series… Named a High School Academic All-American… Also a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.
