2009-10: Earned CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major All-American status after winning the 200-yard butterfly at the America East Championships in an NCAA “B” time of 1:47.81… Led off the 800-yard freestyle relay squad that broke UMBC, America East Championship and Boston University Fitness and Recreation Pool records in a time of 6:37.08… Also claimed silver in the 100 fly and bronze in the 200-yard individual medley at the conference meet… Also set season-best times in the 100 fly (49.41), 200 fly and 200 IM (1:50.16) at the conference meet… Picked up six wins during the dual meet season.

 

2008-09: Set new school records in the 200-yard butterfly (1:47.69) and 200-yard individual medley (1:48.67) on his way to winning gold in both events at the America East Championships… Claimed silver and swam the second-fastest time in school history in the 100 fly (48.59) at the conference meet… Finished first in seven events during the dual-meet season after missing the first four due to a shoulder injury… Named Most Improved Athlete at UMBC’s varsity awards banquet in May.

 

2007-08: Named the Most Outstanding Male Rookie at the America East Championships after setting a new school, conference meet and University of Maine Wallace Pool record as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:42.44)... Claimed gold in the 100 and 200 butterflies, silver as part of the 200 medley relay and bronze in the 200 individual medley and as part of the 400 medley relay at the America East Championships… Also won the 100 fly in a meet-record time of 49.70, won the 200 fly and 200 IM, placed second in the 200 free and was part of the winning 800 free, 200 medley and second-place 400 free and 400 medley relays at the GMU Patriot Invitational… Finished the dual and championship meet seasons undefeated in the 100 fly and won the 200 fly at seven dual meets during the season, losing in just one, against Navy… Held UMBC’s fastest times of the season in the 100 fly (49.70) and 200 fly (1:51.25)… His 100 fly time ranks fourth in the all-time top 10, while his 200 fly is fifth and 200 IM (1:51.92) are fifth… Was named the America East Swimmer of the Week for the weeks ending Nov. 12 and Nov. 19.
