Baltimore, Md.-- UMBC men's soccer hosts the #22 UMass Lowell River Hawks on Saturday as a part of homecoming weekend at Retriever Soccer Park. The Retrievers are coming off a 3-0 loss at New Hampshire last Friday, snapping their six game unbeaten streak to fall to 4-2-3, 0-1-0 AE on the year.

Scouting the Retrievers:

-UMBC opened conference play with a 3-0 loss at New Hampshire last Friday. The Wildcats outshot the Retrievers, 14-5, scoring a pair of goals in the opening half.

-Freshman Tre Pulliam leads the Retriever offense with four goals on the year, adding an assist for a team best nine points. Senior Christian Morales, junior Sammy Kahsai and sophomore Patrick Jean-Gilles each have two goals. Junior Gregg Hauck and freshman Jon Bell have three assists each.

-Billy Heavner has started every game in net for UMBC, going 4-2-3 on the year. Heavner has made 29 saves for a save percentage of .707. He has allowed 12 goals for a goals against average of 1.21.

Scouting the River Hawks:

-UMass Lowell comes into the contest with the Retrievers ranked number 22 in the nation according the NSCAA rankings, and have not lost in four contests on the road this year. UML most recently tied Binghamton, 1-1 on Saturday in Lowell.

-Wuilito Fernandes leads the team with seven goals, as him, Ivan Abramovic (four) and Carlos Ruiz (two) have scored multiple goals. Abramovic has added seven assists to lead the team with 15 points.

-Austin Kroll has played every minute in net for the River Hawks, allowing just six goals for a goals against average of 0.62. He has made 23 saves for a save percentage of .793.

Attendance Counts:

-UMBC currently ranks 23rd in attendance in the NCAA, averaging 1,258 fans at Retriever Soccer Park for matches. A total of 7,546 fans have flocked to Baltimore to see the Retrievers this year.

All-Time Series:

-UMBC and UMass Lowell will be meeting for the fourth time in the all-time series, with the Retrievers holding a 3-0-0 lead.

-UMBC has won every meeting between the two since the River Hawks went Division I in 2013.

-The last meeting between the two was last year, where Gregg Hauck scored off a header from Michael Scott off a corner kick from Malcolm Harris in the 71st minute in a 1-0 win.
