Men's Soccer Augments Nationally-Honored Recruiting Class with a Pair of Additions

BALTIMORE - The UMBC men's soccer program has augmented its nationally-recognized recruiting class for the fall of 2016 by adding attacking midfielder Tre McCalla (Scarborough, Ont., Canada/Senator O'Connor) and goalkeeper Tomas Potts (Elliott City, Md./River Hill).

Prior to these additions, the 2016 class had already been ranked No. 20 by College Soccer News and was also considered for a Top 20 class by Top Drawer Soccer. The eight-member group of newcomers will be added to the 13 letterwinners, including eight starters that are likely to comprise the 2016 Retriever roster.

"Both Tre and Tomas make a great recruiting class even better," said head coach Pete Caringi.
