Accolades: (2013) Earned Ed Veit Award as the program’s Most Outstanding Freshman... Tabbed Academic Semester (3.50) Honors in his first semester on campus... Selected to America East Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.  (2014) Named the Most Outstanding Player in the America East Tournament, scoring game-tying goal in semifinals vs. Vermont and game-winner against Hartford in the title match. 

2015: Played in and started every game for UMBC... Recorded 11 points (four goals, three assists) during the campaign with three of his four goals coming as game winners... Kicked off the opening weekend with a goal in a 5-0 rout of Central Arkansas, adding a pair of assists for four points... Tallied his second goal of the season against Albany in a 1-0 win on Homecoming... Recorded a point in three straight games, starting with an assist against Drexel, scoring at UMass Lowell and then again against Stony Brook... Earned America East All-Conference First Team honors.

2014: Made season debut against Long Island coming off the bench... Competed in 17 games, including 12 starts with his first collegiate start coming against Loyola... Tallied first helper against UMBC's win over Vermont on Senior Night (Nov. 1)... Produced brilliant America East Tournament, tallying game-tying goal in the semis vs. Vermont and broke a 1-1 tie in the title game vs. Hartford with a highlight-reel shot late in the second half.  

2013: Earned a letter, but did not see action in any fall competitions. 

Background: A highly-decorated local product who led his North County squad in 2012 with 16 goals and 8 assists, placing second in Anne Arundel County… Led the Knights to the county championship… Recorded a school-record nine points (4 goals, 1 assist) in a victory over Chesapeake to lock down a spot in the title contest… Earned First Team All-Metro honors from both The Baltimore Sun and The Washington Post and was a 2011 and 2012 First Team All-State selection… Earned All-County honors by The Capital Gazette in all four years for the Knights… Amassed 36 goals and 22 assists in his brilliant prep career… Competed for the Arundel Soccer Association, coached by former Retriever Dan Bulls… Also excelled in the baseball and also was part of a county championship team on the diamond in 2013… Listed in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in The Crowd” on April 29, 2013 after the southpaw threw a no-hitter… Does not have full use of his right arm due to a birth injury… Earned two letters in boys’ basketball… A member of the Principals’ Honor Roll list… Interested in a career in physical therapy… Lists favorite movie as The Blind Side… Has two older brothers, Jeremy and Bradley, and a younger sister, Stephanie… Son of Sharlene and Ronald Hauck.
