2009: The central fullback got off to an excellent start, scoring his third collegiate goal in the season’s second game vs. Delaware on Sept. 4… Added an assist two days later in the Anders Classic finale vs. St. Joseph’s… Earned All-Tournament team honors for the second consecutive year the following week as UMBC won both games in the adidas Kick-Off Classic… Suffered a leg injury in the latter stages of the Oct. 10 contest vs. UNH and missed the next five contests… Did return and started all three games in the America East Tournament. 

 

 

 

 

2008: Started all 17 games and has been a starter in all 37 games UMBC has played in ’08 and ‘07… Played all 1,610 minutes during the campaign, the lone field player to earn that distinction… Named to the All-Tournament team in the adidas Kick-Off Classic… For the second consecutive year, he posted a game-winning goal against America East competition… Headed in John Paul Waraksa’s re-direct in the 57th minute for the game’s lone score in the 1-0 win over Binghamton… Recorded his first collegiate assist against Albany.

 

 

2007:?Was one of three Retrievers to start in all 20 games... Inserted into the starting lineup in a demanding central defensive position... Credited with the game-winning goal in the 2-0 decision over Albany... Named America East Rookie of the Week on Oct. 22. 

 

 

BACKGROUND:?Majoring in media and communication studies, with a minor in American studies...
