Trevor Patschorke Named #AEMLAX Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON – UMBC sophomore attackman Trevor Patschorke (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) earned America East Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week in the final week of the regular season.

Patschorke scored a career-high five goals in the Retrievers' 11-9 playoff-clinching win at Hartford. He scored at least one goal each quarter, including a man-up goal in the first quarter and back-to-back scores in the second.

The attackman is tied with junior linemate and #AEMLAX Fans' Choice Player of the Year nominee Ryan Frawley (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) for the team lead in points with 37 (23g, 14a).

Patschorke became third Retriever to score at least five goals in a game this season (Frawley, senior midfielder Josh Jordan).

He has recorded 32 (2.0 pg) goals and 48 points (3.0 pg) in 16 career contests, has produced seven multiple-goal games this season and has hit the nets in 15 of 16 career outings.

The Retrievers are preparing for the America East semi-finals at No. 1 seed and host Stony Brook on Thursday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m.
