Perry, N.Y. – UMBC long-stick defensive midfielder Seth Mackin (Davidsonville, Md./South River) has been selected to compete in the 2015 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Lax World North-South Division I-II College All-Star game.
The 74th annual contest will be played on Friday, May 22 at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. at 5:30 p.m.
Mackin lead the UMBC senior class with 53 games played in four seasons. He had a breakout season in 2014, placing second on the squad with 49 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. The business technology major duplicated one of those feats in 2015, finishing second on the squad with 13 caused miscues and added 29 ground balls to boost his career total to 117.
UMBC has now sent at least one player to the North-South game in 16 of the past 18 seasons.
