Men's Basketball Turns the RAC Black as Retrievers Host League-Leading Stony Brook In Home Finale on Tuesday

RETRIEVER UPDATE:Forty-eight hours after an impressive 78-70 win at Hartford, UMBC hit only 36 percent from the floor and fell to visiting Albany, 75-62 on Saturday. Sophomore guards Chauncey Gilliam and Chris De La Rosa each have scored 41 points in their last two games, accounting for nearly 60 percent of UMBC's offense. Gilliam has posted double figures in ten straight games.

WOLVES UPDATE: Stony Brook remains one-half game ahead of Vermont for the top spot in the conference. They are riding a seven-game winning streak heading into tonight's game, buoyed by tremendous shooting (45%, 43% behind the arc) from the floor. Senior wing Muhammad El-Amin leads the way with 16.2 ppg, while sophomore marksman Bryan Dougher (13.5 ppg) has 71 treys on the year.
