Men's Basketball Heads to Albany For Saturday Night Clash With the Great Danes

RETRIEVER UPDATE:  UMBC (1-15 0-3 America East) dropped its sixth straight contest and first league home game of the season on Thursday, as Hartford edged the Retrievers, 74-68. Freshman post Adrian Satchell scored a career-best 16 points, but the Hawks outscored UMBC, 15-6, on second chance points to key their victory.

GREAT DANES UPDATE: Albany fell to 0-3 in the conference for the first time since teh 2001-02 season as they fell, 67-59, at New Hampshire on Wednesday. Senior forward Will Harris had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds in the game. He heads the conference in 3-point field goal percentage (44.4) and is seventh in scoring at 14.8 points per game.

UP NEXT: UMBC plays the back end of the New York trip on Monday, Jan. 18, wheh they face Stony Brook in a 5:00 p.m. start on Martin Luther King Day. That game will be televised in the Baltimore area by the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.
