Opening Statement…

"Obviously, we're very excited to be here. We earned our way in with some great games in the America East Championship. I thought our guys played amazing. We're excited to be down here at Wake Forest, playing a great ball club coming up. I've known Tom Walter for years and we're excited for tomorrow."

On who will start on the mound against Wake Forest…

"Mike Austin will start. He's a transfer and a redshirt of one year for us. He's done a great job and he's having a great year on the mound. He actually threw the game before we got to our conference tournament, which was a must-win for us in order to be a two-seed because in our conference tournament you get a bye if you are a two-seed. He threw 7 1/3 innings against a really good Stony Brook team and we won that one 2-1 in walk-off fashion. Our pitchers have done a really good job the last three of four games. He's got to do a really good job against a talented Wake Forest team."

On playing Wake Forest in the NCAA Tournament…

"Every game this magnitude is going to be a challenge. Last year, our guys came to Wake Forest and played a really tough game and lost by a run or two. I wouldn't say it's going to take a great effort to get mentally prepared. We have an idea of what we are going to be up against. All of the guys are excited to play."

On the team mentality entering the tournament…

"All year long we battled and we want to take the same approach to every single game which is to just go out there and compete, regardless of competition level. We're going to fight to the bitter end and that's our motto as a team."

On playing in the NCAA Tournament…

"I think we have a pretty good idea of what to expect. In our conference tournament, the four seed beat the one seed. The same thing can happen down here."
