Stony Brook and Albany finished three-four in the standings, followed by UMass Lowell (who is ineligible for the postseason until next year), Maine and Hartford.

UMBC made it to the championship game back in 2015, ultimately falling to Stony Brook, 16-11. Every team in the field has won an America East title, except for UMBC and Hartford. Albany won back in 2007 for their only title, while Maine has won four times (2002, 2005-06, 2011).

UMBC in the America East Tournament:

The Dawgs got all the way to the America East Championship game, where they fell 16-11 to Stony Brook.
Last year, UMBC bowed out on the first day, losing to Albany 8-5 and Maine 11-1.
