Ten Retrievers to Compete in Summer Ball Across the Mid-Atlantic

Baltimore, Md.—A handful of UMBC baseball players will play in collegiate summer leagues all across the Mid-Atlantic. The Retrievers are coming off a 28-23, 13-10 AE season in 2016, where they finished fourth in the conference, falling to Albany and Maine in the America East Tournament.

Ten Retrievers will compete in five leagues including the Prospect League (1), Coastal Plains League (2), Cal Ripken League (5), Maryland Collegiate Baseball League (1), and Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (1).
