UMBC Versus Lafayette Series Moved to Thomasville, N.C.

Baltimore, Md.—The UMBC series versus Lafayette, originally slated to be held in Baltimore, has been moved to Thomasville, N.C. due to the recent weather in the area.

Originally a two game series, the teams will now play four games at Finch Field the home of the High Point-Thomasville HiToms. The three day set will feature a double-header on Friday, February 27 starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1 will feature single games starting at 5:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. respectively.

Following the trip to North Carolina, UMBC will have a pair of mid-week games at Georgetown and Coppin State. The matchup with the Hoyas will take place on Tuesday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m. from Shirley Povich Field. The Retrievers and Eagles will tangle the following day, starting at 2:00 p.m. from Joe Cannon Stadium.

UMBC will have their home opener March 10, when they host Richmond at 3:00 p.m.
