2015: Made 10 appearances for the Retrievers out of the bullpen... Went 2-1 with a 1.96 ERA in 18.1 innings of work before an injury ended his season... Gave up 16 hits and four earned runs with 23 strikeouts... Had a season high five strikeouts in a win against Binghamton... Threw 1.1 innings of relief against Navy, striking out every batter... Named to America East Honor Roll.
2014: Made 16 appearances out of the bullpen for the Retrievers as a redshirt junior… Recorded three saves on the year while also earning two wins… Struck out 21 batters while walking just 14 hitters… Held opponents to a .257 batting average… Tossed a scoreless inning against William and Mary in his UMBC debut on March 1… Recorded the save in his second outing, pitching a clean 1.2 innings against UNC Greenboro at the Chanticleer Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on March 8 … Held Maine scoreless for 5.2 innings as the Retrievers rallied for a 7-6 win in 12 innings against the Black Bears on March 23 at Alumni Field… Struck out six in the outing while not issuing a free pass… Returned five days later to pitch a scoreless inning at East Carolina… Twirled two perfect innings, while fanning three batters, to close out Albany on April 12 in the first game of the America East doubleheader and earn the save… Picked up his third save after tossing two scoreless inning and striking out four Coppin State hitters on April 23 at Alumni Field… Took the win on May 6 against Towson after working 1.2 scoreless innings… The Retrievers offense rallied against the Tigers for UMBC’s first win at Towson since 2003.
