Wednesday’s Game Against Towson Suspended, Canceled Due to Rain

BALTIMORE – Due to heavy rain in the Baltimore area, Wednesday evening's baseball game between UMBC and Towson has been suspended until further notice.  The Tigers lead the game, 6-1, in the top of the third and have the bases loaded.  The game will not be finished due to scheduling.

The Retrievers now hit the road and return to conference play to face America East rival Stony Brook for a three-game set this weekend in New York.  The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday with the first game beginning at noon and then return on Sunday for a single game at Joe Nathan Field starting at 12 p.m. as well.
