Color Games

The Color Games were established at UMBC in 2018 as a way to provide a welcome break from the craziness of finals week. Inspired by former academic advisor Carissa Leoni's experience at Rutgers, the Color Games gives student-athletes a day to unwind from the pressures of school and interact with other athletes and staff members as they compete in various games on 16 different teams.

Funded through the help of the America East Mental Health Grant and held during Mental Health Awareness Month in May, the Retrievers help to "Fight the Stigma" of mental health and build unity throughout Retriever Nation.
