CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT LAFAYETTE INVITATIONAL

UMBC’s cross country squads competed at the Lafayette Invitational on Saturday afternoon.  Both teams finished in seventh place out of 12 teams.  Freshman Stefanie Thomas continued her impressive first season with a 4^th place overall finish and an outstanding 6k time of 21:08 to lead the women’s squad, while classmate Izzy Mehmedovic led the men’s team with a 12^th place finish and a time of 26:17.
