2008: Finished first across the line in two meets for the Retrievers, while placing second in four… Best finish was 11th at the Towson Invitational… Placed 23rd in a 5K career-best time of 18:40.4 at the America East Cross Country Championships… Named the Most Improved Athlete at UMBC’s Varsity Awards Banquet in May… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2007: Was the second Retriever across the line at three meets and third at two meets during the season… Finished as the third Retriever at the America East Championships, in 46^th place with a time of 20:11.80 for the 5008-meter course… Ran her season-best 5K at the opening meet with a time of 20:06.04, good for sixth place… Saw her career-best 6K time at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, where she ran a time of 22:44 to finish in 97^th place.

2006: Was UMBC’s top finisher in the first two meets of her freshman season, finishing fourth at the Mount St. Mary’s Dual 5K’s and 13^th at the Navy Salty Sea Dog Invitational… Finished as the Retrievers’ second runner in the next three meets, including the America East Championships where she finished 36^th in a season-best time of 18:59.6 for a 5K… Ran her best 6K time of 23:22.9 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals where she was third for the Retrievers.

Background: A four-sport athlete at McLean H.S. where she competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, and basketball… Named the McLean H.S. MVP in cross country from 2003-2005 and the track and field MVP in 2005… Finished sixth and 16^th in the 3200-meter run at the Liberty District and Northern Region Indoor Championships in 2004, sixth in the 1600 at the Northern Region Outdoor Championships in 2005, eighth in the Liberty District Cross Country Championships in 2005, second and ninth in the 1600 at the Liberty District and Northern Region Indoor Championships, and fourth in the 1600 and seventh in the 800 at the Liberty District Outdoor Championships in 2006.
