2008: Scored for the Retrievers in three out of the six events he competed in… Ran a career-best 8K time of 26:06.40 in the Princeton Invitational… Best finish was 15th in the Towson Invitational… Placed 32nd in a career-best 5K time of 17:31.14.

2007: Scored for the Retrievers in the last four meets of the season in his debut campaign… Was the third Retriever across the line at the America East Championships, where he turned in a time of 27:21.10 for the 8124-meter course, good for 29^th place and was also third on the team at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals with a time of 32:52 for the 10K… Ran his best 8K time at the Lehigh Paul Short Run where he turned in a 26:15 to finish third for the Retrievers and scored in the fourth position at the William and Mary Tribe Invitational where he turned in a 26:46 for the 8K for 39^th overall… Started the season off with a 34^th place finish at the Mount St. Mary’s Dual 5K’s in 17:34.37.

Background: A 12-time letterwinner in the sports of cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field at Bethesda-Chevy Chase H.S. in Bethesda, Md…. A two-time Jesse Owens Athletic Award recipient (2006 and 2007) and the Maryland Class 3A Cross Country state champion in 2006… Finished fifth in the 3200-meter run at the 2007 Indoor State Championships and third in the same event at the 2007 Montgomery County Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Also finished third in the 3200 at the state meet and was part of the second place 4 x 800m relay en route to a third place team finish… A 2004 Junior Olympic National competitor.
