2007: Competed in four meets during the season beginning with the Mount St. Mary’s Dual 5K’s, where she ran a season-best time of 23:48.32 for 37th place overall… Also recorded a season-best in the 6K at the Navy Salty Sea Dog Invitational, where she ran a time of 28:41… Finished 77th overall at the America East Championships with a time of 23:51 for the 5008-meter course… Ran a time of 29:16 for the 6K at the William and Mary Tribe Open.
2006: Scored in half of the meets during the season… Was the third Retriever across the line at the
2005: Scored for the Retrievers in all but two of the meets during the season… Was the fourth Retriever across the line on two different occasions, to start the season at the
Background: Comes from Fallston High School where she lettered all-four years on the indoor and outdoor track and field team and four years on the varsity soccer team… Wwon the state and regional indoor track and field title in the 800m run… Placed second in the outdoor 800m in the regionals and was the 400m county champion… Team won the indoor regional and state title in 2005… A member of the student government, Best Buddies program, German National Honor Society and the varsity club.
Personal: Great Grandfather ran in the Olympics for Scotland… One of three children to Chip and Ellen Saltsman… Siblings names are Jennette and Kyle… Born on February 26, 1987.
