2006: Scored for the Retrievers in all but one meet during the season… Was the fifth Retriever across the line at the conference championships, finishing the 5K course in 19:50.0, good for 54^th place… Highest finish of the year came during her collegiate debut at the Mount St. Mary’s Dual 5K’s where she finished 22^nd in a time of 21:50.6… Ran her best 6K time of the year at the William and Mary Tribe Open where she finished 31^st in a time of 25:26.6.

Background: A varsity letterwinner at Francis Scott Key H.S. in Union Bridge, Md…. Earned the Eagle Award and MVP honors from and was named All-County and All-Conference… Helped her team to a runner-up finish at the regional meet in 2006… Also finished third in the 1A/2A 3200-meter run in the 2006 Maryland State Championship… An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society who earned the Principal’s Award.
